Scarisbrick Hall Visit

On Monday 15th July about 16 members of SCA met up for a visit to Scarisbrick Hall just outside Southport. Thank you to all those who worked to make this possible. It has took a little while to finalise the details and I know lots and lots of emails.

The current owners of Scarisbrick Hall Independent School showed us around the historically inportant buildings and grounds. The building has a complicated history which is covered on a variety of websites. A simple search will keep you entertained for hours.

This visit was to gather information and be inspired by the building and surrounds to produce original art work. We hope to exhibit some of the work later in the year in an exhibition at ArtHouse in Southport. The picture below were taken as reminders to help with sketches and initial drawings.
