18th July - 29th July - ‘Extramundane’ - Sam Cookson
This exhibition contains work by Sam Cookson, Matthew Birchall and Tao Lashley Burnley. During the exhibition there will be a competition to win one of Sam's sculptures.
Sam has been working with found materials for over 10 years but this is his first exhibition in Southport. He calls himself a 'hoarder with an excuse'. All the materials used have a sense of history with marks and dents which have a story spanning a pathway from an unprocessed raw material to being disgarded as an unwanted object.
